Delete your account

In the app

Open Account → Delete account, and confirm with your PIN. It happens immediately.

What is deleted

• Your account — handle, name and PIN.
• Every prayer you have marked, and your streak and noor.
• Your membership of every circle, and any circle where you were the last member.
• Your notifications and any prayer-alert subscriptions.
• Your saved location.

What remains

Masjids you pinned stay on the shared map, because other people rely on them — but they stop being linked to you. Nothing that remains identifies you.

If you are the only admin of a circle

Make someone else an admin first, otherwise that circle would be left with nobody able to run it. A circle where you are the only member is deleted along with your account.

Cannot get in?

If you have forgotten your PIN, use your recovery code to sign back in first. If you cannot sign in at all, write to support@simplequran.in from any address and tell us your handle — we will verify and delete it for you.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. We keep no backup copy of a deleted account beyond routine encrypted database backups, which age out.
